3 Ways I'm Actually Using Claude Code in My Spiritual Business

For months, creating content ate at least three hours of my week, every week, and that was just one brand at a time. Soul-Forged Founders one week, High Priestess Tarot School the next, every post spaced out by hand. Before I did it myself, I paid a VA $700 a month for the same job. So when I say I wanted this off my plate, I had already put a real number on what it was costing me.

That's the problem I brought to Claude Code. I'd been using AI in regular Claude chat for a long time already. What I wanted was different. I wanted a way of working where the repetitive parts actually left my plate for good.

Here are the three ways I use it now. The surprising part is that two of them have nothing to do with code.

I have a partner I plan my day with

This is the one I didn't see coming, and it's become my favorite.

Every morning I sit down with Claude Code and we look at what's open. It already knows my business, so there's no pasting in context or re-explaining myself. It reads the notes on what we worked on yesterday, adds new ideas into my projects folder, marks the finished ones done, and when I need a post draft or a file, it pulls it up on the screen right there. No hunting and pecking through folders trying to remember where I saved something or what I decided last Tuesday.

That's the part nobody prepared me for. Every other time I've used AI, I was the one holding all of it: the organizing, the saving, the finding, the remembering, the dates. Here, we're actually working together. It holds the thread so I get to keep my head clear for the work that needs me.

No code involved. I just talk to it.

My weekly content runs on a routine now

Here's the fuller version of the thing that used to eat at least three hours a week.

Every week I save the insights I collect: from coaching, from posts that landed, from conversations like the one I had building this. Then a scheduled task fires, and Claude pulls from those insights to build a full batch of content across both brands. We're talking around thirty-two pieces, roughly sixteen per brand: single-image posts, carousels, e-blasts, sometimes a blog like this one.

From there, another routine takes the finished batch and pushes it straight into Buffer, where I schedule from. I started on a Make integration and it only supported single-image posts, and I use carousels constantly because they hold more and pull better views. So I moved the whole thing to Buffer, which handles carousels and, it turned out, comments too.

I still review and refine every piece before it goes out. That part stays mine, on purpose, because the voice matters too much to fully hand off. But the blank page is gone, and the hours went with it.

Still no code. It's a routine I set up by describing what I wanted.

I build small tools for my members, with zero coding experience

This is the only one that's technically coding, and it still doesn't feel like it.

I make interactive tools and guides for the people inside my communities: things they can click through, fill in, and actually use. Spread guides, trackers, workbooks and artifact templates that they can use in their businesses. I have never written a line of code in my life. With Claude Code, I describe the tool I want the same way I'd describe it to a person, and it handles the technical steps.

The intimidation was always the real cost, never the difficulty. I remember opening this thing for the first time and feeling completely out of my depth. It turns out "coding" was the wrong word for what scared me. There's a short list of one-time setup steps, and after that it's conversation. One thing worth knowing: building a tool inside Claude Code uses noticeably less of your usage than building the same thing in a regular chat, and it comes out more capable. If you're going to make anything at all, that's the route.

Where this is headed

I figured all of this out by doing it. It's further along than it was three months ago, and I'm still sharpening the pieces that need it. That's what building looks like when you're the one doing it instead of waiting for someone to hand you the finished version.
